If you would like to read ecological and queer tales from a tiny corner of the West Coast of Britain then look no further. Here I would like to offer my tails of Wirral, during a time of great upheaval in the early 1700’s, and perhaps from other times too.

I want to explore the relationship between thriving diverse communities and how the non-human beings respond and likewise thrive, or not.

I would also like to inspire locals and others in their historical landscape, to reveal what was once here, where we can find the remnant glimmers outside of the books, and what possibly could be again, in terms of ecological restoration and healthy society…Wirral is such a magical place, rich in folklore and mythology and realness, the birth place of many a tale, from Arthurian tales to ancient beach markets. A no-ones land where cultures met and traded in secrecy and protection, coming from as far away as North Africa, even before the Romans…

This place is also a microcosm that can show what happens when capitalism rips through coastal communities and changes the very face of the earth and sea, and this is the time, as the industrial revolution was gaining place, throwing many lives into the cogs and wheels of the great human engine

, where our story begins…

I have created this as a platform to explore my story writing. I really want to create a sparkling magical queer period drama kinda thing, set in Wirral. There will also be random other bits of writing too as i branch out from only using instagram.
